A little something i wrote whilst sitting in a church service on Sunday

Why these walls?

Who are they here for?

Our benefit?

Do they provide comfort?

Do they keep others at bay?

These walls, banners, lights

Yet you are not safe

You break down walls

You didn’t sit and wait

You call people to leave, to sell everything

To Go

Active, Participative, Not Static, Not Passive

Remind us Lord

Call us back

Send us

Break us

Scare us

Surprise us

The Church doesn’t have walls

But hell we’ve tried

Hey I love the poem and really relate to it big time.
Can I add it to spikyheaded poem section? With full credit to you of course.

Yeah feel free to add it. I love your site so it would be nice to be able to give to it a little something. Also I see that you’re going to be working around N London if you ever find yourself in the Enfield area let me know and we might be able to arrange coffee
